Brian's Priorities

District 1 is one of the most diverse of all 6 of the newly formed Districts in Hayward.  It encompasses the neighborhoods and businesses from Cal State to the 238/580 freeway and going east towards the hills from Mission Blvd.  And with that diversity comes the need for a representative that has the knowledge and experience necessary to truly represent the views of those of us living in this District.  

We need to fight to improve the appearance of the public properties, the on-ramps, right of ways belonging to the City of Hayward, Alameda County and Caltrans in order to beautify our District and the public image of Hayward for visitors and residents alike.   

This is why I am running for Hayward City Council so that the residents and businesses in District 1 are represented by someone who shares their values and understands their needs.

• Ensure that we provide the funding and tools to increase Public Safety including Police, Fire and Emergency Response Personnel
• Stimulate the Economic Growth Downtown and along the Mission Blvd./Foothill Blvd Corridors
• Develop Affordable Housing Programs for Seniors and  Families to allow them the opportunity to stay in Hayward 
• Ensure that the City's Budget is overseen and balanced
• Redesign the "Loop" and improve the access for Hayward residents and visitors coming into our District
• Increase Communications to All Hayward Residents
